(in classical mythology) a unique bird that periodically burned itself on a funeral pyre and was born again from the ashes.
Daytona Florida..... Bike Week 2005
The stock Harley Davidson is parked outside a local watering hole in town, along side of 15 other bikes, suddenly, a drunk driver in a pickup truck crashes into all the bikes. This Harley is now numbered "10" by the police. The frame is bent & it's totaled. No insurance! The bike is shipped back to New York to be rebuilt. A new custom frame is bought which Gary molds & paints a custom combination of candy burgundy & pearls. Some of the parts are custom after market & Gary has to do body work & paints them as well. The owner feels that he is resurrecting this bike & has the idea of AIRBRUSHING the bike as though it is a Phoenix. He instructs Gary to paint the bird softly, without detail, from the tank to the back of the saddle bags & to turn the bird?s feathers into flames........... The Phoenix has risen!
Crashed Harley with the number 10 circled on the tank.

(3) Gary molds the custom frame, It is all done by hand sanding. There are no tools available to do this kind of job. (4) The custom motorcycle frame is painted by Gary (5) The custom front fender needs the welds to be covered & the rear fender is being customized & straightened. (6) The tank & fenders are painted a custom mix of candies & pearls. (7) Gary designed & made this tank console from fiberglass. It's a one of a kind. (8) Even the smallest parts are painted to match.
