HAND PAINTED PERIOD CORRECT "PATINA" STYLE LETTERING

An unrestored- original paint - 1929 Model "A" Ford
1 & a half ton pickup
was donated to a motorcyle museum in North Carolina.

The donator wanted the lettering to look as though it had been lettered in 1929.

Gary hand lettered & pinstriped the doors in period correct lettering & then gave it a worn "patina"

D&A Sand & Gravel likes their trucks to look good & patriotic.

Gary has been LETTERING their fleet of trucks since 1990.  Each truck is artistically different to some degree.
AIRBRUSHED  LETTERING with a urithane clear coat protects the lettering from the cement acids & continued everyday washing.  The very first lettering job still looks new today.

RACE CAR LETTERING

The only Ford to be sponsored by the famous Motion Performance speed shop of the '60s & 70's was the Mustang, the "HUGGER MUGGER."       GARY, "THE LOCAL BRUSH" was the go to guy, for race car lettering on Long Island & lettered all of the Motion race cars.  Gary hand lettered the Mustang in 1967 & after a long restoration project, just re-lettered it again in 2010, exactly as it was originally.

Remember the 1960's hit TV show, THE MUNSTERS?

The very popular car of that show, "DRAGULA" built by George Barris was just restored on Long Island, New York, by Andy Perillo of New York Custom Coach.  Gary was asked by Andy to reproduce the exact Lettering that was on the original car & to Airbrush the marble grill for the car.  (actually Grandpa Dracula's tombstone)
