1960's HIP BOWING ALLEY STYLE & COLOR
Gary was asked to create a multi-layered dimensional sign with a 1960's coloring & bowling alley flair.
Carving PVC & using Alumalite,
a substrate of 2 thin sheets of aluminum & a center of corrugated plastic, this sign will last indefinitely. Gary also sprayed an automotive urethane paint & finally hand painted the details with 1Shot lettering enamel.

DETAIL shows the Metalflake glitter in the purple paint.
The actual size of this uniquely colored & carved sign 8 foot high by 20 feet long.
Only new hi-tech materials were used on this dimensional sign;
Materials were used on this dimensional sign;
*The outside box frame is paint baked aluminum.
*The impregnated painted face is a combination of 2 aluminum sheets & 1 sheet of PVC type plastic laminated for light weight strength.
*The floating lettering is color impregnated plexiglass.
*The dimensional sculpture atop the sign is a 22inch X 22 inch x 6 inch thick block of PVC that was computer carved & then painted with automotive urethane paints.
* 24 Karat Gold Leaf was then added to the flame.
